Award Winning Landscape Design

This landscaping design and installation by Bob Renaud received the 2008 Residential Rear Yard Award of Merit from the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA).
It will be open to the public during the 2008 Twin Cities Pond and Landscape Tour and was also featured in Edina Magazine.

This house had a fairly large back yard, but the setback reduced the usable space. The goal of the landscape design was to increase the amount of usable space. |

| In spring and fall, when the days are shorter, but still relatively mild, low voltage lighting makes the landscape more inviting during the early evening hours. |

| A palette of natural stone and falling water captures the magic of the north woods. |

| Black Adirondack chairs and potted annuals add contrast to the dry-stack gas fire pit. |

| A wandering path of irregular stone connects the patio to the fire pit and seating area. |
 |
| Tumbled pavers of the retaining wall create a seamless transition and elevate the front yard water feature. |
