  • B.S. in Horticulture from Iowa State University
  • Originally from Chicago, IL, I headed to the west coast after college to begin my career in Seattle, Washington back in 1996. There, I was able to expand my design experience, as well as work with some famous people. (of course I can’t tell)
  • I received an MNLA award for the Northwoods Magic project. This project shows all of my outstanding abilities in both creative & functional design, as well as a firm grip on construction practices.
  • Some of my creations featured in both Edina Magazine and Luxury Home & Renovations magazine
  • As a pioneer in ‘Green Landscape’ practices at his company, I successfully designed and installed Southview’s first MN Greenstar and USGBC LEED for homes certified projects. The MN Greenstar home was the first Gold Certified Home in the Twin Cites!
  • During my free time I like wind down and play a little acoustic guitar as well as be active in the outdoors. This includes hunting, fishing, and camping.
  • Current member of Trout Unlimited, Twin Cities as well as a struggling, yet excited, fly fisherman.

Bob received his formal landscape design training at Iowa State University and then honed his skills in Seattle, WA, where he had the opportunity to work on landscaping projects that most people only dream of. Bob has worked his way up from foreman, to division manager, to residential landscape designer. His experience shows itself in landscape designs which encompass form, function, and creativity. Bob's portfolio demonstrates expertise in all forms of outdoor spaces: walls, patios, walkways, plant selection, lighting, and other unique aesthetic features. He is a 2008 recipient of the MNLA Merit award for excellence in landscape installation.
